Sometimes, when I sit alone,
I feel the silence begin to ring.
Whether or not it is an auditory
Phenomenon, I know not.
Lately,
Though, the silence has decided to sit,
And to stay, like an ill-tempered dog.
There is so much talk of a god;
I wonder, should it exist, does the
Silence ring?
Does it ring for a god?
